Renee Cherry continues the Virgin Australia over food poisoning of baby born

A mother has filed an application in the Supreme Court of the Australia Friday that his unborn son suffered food poisoning on a flight from Virgin Australia in May 2009, according to the Australia.

Renee Cherry took legal measures for his son, Zayd Fokeera, who was born about two months after Cherry ate a roll of chicken on a flight from Melbourne to Brisbane on 23 May 2009.

Roll claims Cherry, it contracted listeria poisoning from eating a tainted chicken. Said his claim that "bacteria listeria poisoned the blood of the mother of the plaintiff and the plaintiff and led to damage."

Application of Cherry says that his son was "injured" with a bacterial infection, listeria poisoning, injury gastrointestinal, development delay and anxiety.

Through his lawyers, Cherry admitted he was "very depressing" to learn that she had listeria poisoning while pregnant, adding "it's every mother's worst nightmare."

Cherry is suing for medical expenses, loss of potential income and gain and damage capacity.

In August 2009, Virgin Australia released a statement regarding an outbreak of listeria from May to June 2009, saying: "the veil of chicken affected may have been provided to customers on flights along the coast is the Australia and New Zealand and Bali." Virgin said in the statement that listeria may be harmful to pregnant women.
