Allure of the seas rescues Cuban Migrants adrift at sea

Michelle Sullivan, AOL travelNine Cuban migrants were rescued Saturday from their makeshift raft by a cruise ship Royal Caribbean position towards the port in Florida.

-Eight men and a woman - migrants have been found off the coast of the northern tip of Cuba by the allure of the seas, Royal Caribbean. The ship returned to Port Everglades after a week Caribbean cruise.

The ship, the Group received food, water and medical care. They had been at sea for eight days on a boat of fortune with a yellow tarp.

"It was in fact really exciting while it was all happening," passenger cruise Colleen Hinch told The Miami Herald. "The captain made an announcement so everyone went on the side to see what was going on." "We turned and there was a small tiny boat which had the air very that".

Migrants have been spotted at approximately 2 A.m., and by approximately 4 PM were delivered to the coast guard of the United States.

There was no word on the current status of men and women, but they will likely be repatriated.
