Passenger Virgin struck to Make Room for fuel surcharge

Two passengers were escorted off a Virgin Blue aircraft by police Thursday when they refused to be bumped to make room for fuel additional.

The theft of fuel necessary Bali Melbourne extra to compensate for bad weather along the route.

The pilot requested two passengers to voluntarily leave the flight. When nobody has offered, the last two people on the plane were selected.

According to a source of local news, passengers sympathized with the two men. "They had taken care to book their flights, they were ready to go to Bali and then they were told that they could not", said one passenger.

Virgin Blue called the "totally regrettable" incident, reports IB Traveler. However, the fuel needed to be doubled because of bad weather.

This is not the first time that the passengers have been struck to make room for fuel. In January, 37 passengers have launched an EasyJet flight to accommodate 11 tonnes of fuel additional.
