gas prices hit $4 mark

It seems that the drivers of the country will feel more pressure at the pump. According to a survey published Sunday, the average price of the United States gas has reached $4.

According to the Lundberg Survey, the national average for self-service, regular unleaded gas was $ 4 per gallon on May 6. It is 11.98 cents more than the 22 April, Reuters reports.

If this all sounds as already seen, it is because we have already heard of even discouraging news in April when gas hit $3.84 per gallon.

The most expensive gas in the nation are in Chicago, at $4.50 per gallon of unleaded. Folks in Tucson have easier, this gas is cheapest only $ 3.62.

But prices have not yet exceed the record level of $4.11 set July 11, 2008. And we would not get there.

"We may see a drop of a dime or before the day of remembrance", Trilby Lundberg, editor of the investigation, told CNN.

Can be evidence of a decline in prices in the wholesale market where prices are already low – 21 cents per gallon of gasoline without mark and 14 cents per gallon for gas brand.

There are some factors, however, which could push prices back up. Application in developing countries, as well as the weakening of the dollar caused the increase in crude oil prices. Also, the loss of production of the Libya played a role in the increase in the price.

Those who plan to attend their Memorial Day destination may want to reconsider.
