Princess Diana Gets Barbuda range named for her

In time for the marriage of Prince William, Princess Diana is being paid an another tribute. A range of Antigua and Barbuda, once frequented by the end, is Princess be renamed in his honour. The three kilometres of beach is located at the southern end of the island of Barbuda, once a part of Britain. The beach will be renamed Princess Diana Beach at a ceremony on July 1.

The date would have been his 50th birthday. However, she died in 1997 in a car in Paris at the age of 36 years accident.

"Barbuda become a sanctuary for the Princess and she seemed to find solace in the beauty of the island," Dorcas Beazer-Williams, President of tourism for the Barbuda Council, told the Associated Press. She hoped that the new range will serve as a reminder of the legacy of Princess.

This is not the first time that a place has been appointed to the royalty, but Diana is once more under the spotlight because of the wedding of his son.
