Blythe Danner appointed patron Seaborn Quest

Blythe Danner, Tony - and Emmy-award winning actress (not to mention mother Gwyneth Paltrow) was appointed as the last ship of the godmother of Seabourn Yacht, Quest.

Danner will christen the ship in Barcelona, in a sunset ceremony June 20 just before it leaves for its maiden voyage of 14 days in Athens, USA today reported.

Seabourn President Richard Meadows stated: "Blythe Danner embodies perfectly the mixture of style and sophistication, emotional depth with a unique sense of pleasure that creates the social atmosphere aboard ship Seabourn.". We couldn't be more thrilled to have its name officially our newest ship. ?

The quest for 450-person is the third and last of the Seabourn Odyssey-class ships.

In his first season at sea, the quest will conduct two trips in seven days: a Eastern Mediterranean Cruise alternating between Athens and Istanbul, and a travel in the Black Sea.

Last year, former supermodel and icon Twiggy, was named the godmother of the ship of stay of the Seabourn, who spent his first year in Northern Europe.
