Crystal Kim, Cancer Patient, was denied flight on Korean Air for research "too sensitive".

Korean Airlines has refused a woman with a breast cancer of stage 4 a seat on a flight from the South-bound Korea because it "seemed too fragile", MSNBC reports.

Crystal Kim had a doctor's note of not one but two doctors, saying that it was OK to fly from Seattle to South Korea over the weekend, KING5-TV, a local NBC affiliate reports.

However, a spokesman of the Korean Airlines Penny Pfaelzer said thought carrier would not for a long flight, so they organized a hotel until they could confirm "appropriate authority".

Pfaelzer said the affiliate that other passengers could be "traumatised" If a passenger were to die while in flight.

Crystal daughter, Mimi, told MSNBC that she wanted to take his mother to the Korea of the South for mother's day.

Monday, the mother-daughter duo has once more to a doctor to get a third note, but the airline would still not placed him on a flight.

"It is absolutely ridiculous, ruthless and incredible," said Mimi Kim.

In a stroke of luck, Delta agreed to fly the Kims Korea Southern, Wednesday.
